he customer database should always be growing, so you’ll be expected to maintain and develop a quality database of leads. You should be able to make decisions on the best course of action to take following a phone call (i.e. send literature & what type/fax/E-mail), to ensure maximum impact and successful outcome. You will be looking to obtain and book quality appointments for Sales Representatives. You must be able to communicate with all types of external contacts such as Directors & Owners and should be able to present a professional image of the company. The role of Telemarketing/Sales Support is important as it is one of the main points of contact for clients, either existing or new and first impressions of the company are often judged through this role. It is important to have a polite, professional manner and positive attitude, to be knowledgeable about the company and the product and be confident when speaking with clients, or prospective clients.
