Sales Manager

• Meeting objectives set through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance

• Annual review of the Corporate rates in order to maximize ADR and overall revenue whilst growing market share • Research, own and account manage all Corporate clients, Consortia Agents.

• Research and target organizations and companies within your territory for potential business

• Own and account manage all local corporate clients including proposing the annual corporate rate structure, review of rate agreements, targeting new clients, growing existing accounts and account managing all clients

• All activity will be reported on the Weekly Sales Report and logged

• All Accounts and clients with potential must have a future activity

• Propose and represent Shows and Exhibitions as well as client events on and off site as the business requires. Report and follow up advising of all potential and confirmed business resulting

• Make recommendations for Marketing activity, Shows, Exhibitions

• Work with the London and Regional Sales Manager to deliver Sales activities, share leads and best practice

• Ensure you and the Events Sales Team are fully aware of sales and project targets

• Minimum of 10 external sales calls a week generating new leads for the Events Team and developing Corporate clients • Minimum of 5 site visits per month showcasing to relevant and potential new clients and Agents. Communicate across all relevant departments and involve the wider

• Assist in the production of and deliver relevant aspects of the Sales Plan

• Attending Revenue and Forecast meetings as required presenting relevant Sales activity and proposing actions to fill trough periods ensuring these are actioned and results measured

• With the Events team identify gaps in event reservations, devise and execute sales action plan • Ensure targets are met for Account Management calls and procedures

• Attend weekly Events meeting reviewing new enquiries, lost business and refused enquiries. Work with the Event team providing assistance to help convert bookings including site visits and appointments

• Working with and involve other departments such as Reservations to identify any new potential clients • With the PR and Marketing team execute the M&E and Corporate Communications Plan in line with the Annual Sales Plan including the quarterly e-newsletter, generation of promotional emails, giveaways, collateral and mailings as well as Social Media communication to these

• Provide feedback from clients, on market performance and competitors and other relevant departmental heads • Ensure all credit checks completed with the Accounts department on all new clients

• Keep accurate reports of the production of revenue from individual companies and agents • Identify cross selling opportunities and action them with other departments
