JOB DESCRIPTION

   JOB PURPOSE
Experienced Export Clerk – Working within a small team based over two locations,.  This role would suit somebody who enjoys handling the job from start to finish.  

 

Working alongside the specialist courier and pick and pack teams in London you will have the backing of 9 people on-site as well as a further four people based in Manchester.   The general air forwarding department consists of 5 people split across both locations.  


  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Airline Collections/Deliveries
Liaising with suppliers
Preparing paperwork and handling pre-alerts/post-flights
Invoicing , processing and passing of supplier invoices. 
Providing experience to the wider group on airfreight matters.
Working with overseas agents / Sales teams to develop the airfreight business


AEO:
All duties to be undertaken with reference to Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) procedures and work instructions.

5. SKILLS, EXPEREINCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

3-5 Years’ Experience
Airfreight Dangerous Goods training 
Cargo Wise Experience preferred
Confident with good communication and computer skills 
Airfreight import experience would be advantageous as we are looking for a good all-rounder
