Business Development Executive

About the role
A talented Business Development Executive is needed to provide support for these fast paced areas of the business.

You will work as part of a wider BD and Marketing team consisting of sector specialists and a central marketing function. You will be driving a range of activities, events and campaigns, reporting on ROI and bringing new ideas to the table. You will need to be highly organised, assertive and an effective communicator. The ability to lead service line strategy and experience dealing with demanding stakeholders will be highly favourable.


-To help partners generate new leads within their area of focus through targeted campaigns 
-To support partners in converting leads to new business
-To maintain brand awareness and ensure it is used in line with company policy 

Key responsibilities
-To facilitate a strategic and targeted approach to our marketing and business development activities 
-To monitor, report and evaluate the areas of focus to progress against business development targets using the CRM system
-To produce and deliver marketing and business plans and associated budget to support the growth of new business and existing clients
-Manage key relationships with external organisations using the CRM system
-Deliver lead generation campaigns and demonstrate return on investment
-To manage and attend targeted events, both internal and external
-To manage the production of marketing materials working closely with the partner and PR when required - including, leaflets, flyers, brochures, newsletters and e-bulletins. 
-To provide support to partners in managing their pipeline when required
-Liaise with intermediaries and referrers on joint initiatives and develop relationships
-Work with other members of practice development to provide a coordinated approach and share best practice and innovation

Other responsibilities
-To lead marketing and business development meetings in relation to the areas of the business this role supports
-To ensure partners have the tools they need in order to win new business
-Produce new and lost business and pipeline reports 
-Use social media to help build and maintain relationships with prospects
-Provide targeted lists for e-marketing and event invites
-Project manage marketing campaigns, with the support of PD colleagues
-Project manage events, with the support of PD colleagues 
-Organise follow up of leads after events with relevant partners
-Assist partners with proposal production, when necessary
-Assist with key practice development projects as required
