Assistant Marketing Manager

I need candidates with more experience.  I am looking for a candidate with much more digital marketing experience specifically PPC, social and display.  ATL (TV) experience will also be useful.  I ideally want a candidate who has managed large budgets alsoPurpose of the role

management and ensuring marketing initiatives generate positive ROI

2. Key Responsibilities
• Work closely and support the  Marketing and DTC Director to make sure all initiatives are
delivered effectively, and sales are maximised
• Manage paid search, SEO, display and other digital initiatives working closely with appointed media
agency
• Work with Marketing and DTC Director to design new TVC’s and radio campaigns to support business
goals
• Support asset management on the UK website
• Monitor, report and analyse results to improve performance using tools such as Google Analytics,
Hootsuite and others
• Assist with the implementation of all promotions taking place at owned stores/retail network
• Co-ordinate and assist with all events/experiential activity that is taking place throughout the year
• Manage the direct e-newsletter campaigns to encourage footfall and sales
• Support with events and exhibitions (trade and consumer). Maximise ROI and ensure great customer
experience every time
• Review competitor sites and constantly benchmark our standards to improve the quality of our
product copy
• Manage PR agency and PR plan throughout the year
• Assist with the Marketing Contribution Portal and claims that are submitted by Retailers
• Consumer Database. Manage the consumer databases (including those held on behalf of retailers) to
ensure effective communication with consumers. Ensure that the company has clear reporting on the
consumer database and a strong communication strategy
• E Commerce support. Work with UK E commerce manager to make sure that brand is
communicated effectively and product information is always up to date and is communicated clearly
to the consumer. Assist E Commerce to meet the business objectives of the company
• Retailer support. Work with the UK retail sales team to provide effective marketing support 
retail partners (offline and online)
• Assist with community management of social media ensuring responses are within the timeframe
specified
• Any ad-hoc duties as requested by the line Manager
3. Dimensions
• runs with a small, practical, multi-channel Sales and Marketing team. The job holder will
be expected to be able to work effectively with the Marketing and DTC Director, Managing Director,
UK Divisional Sales Managers and E Commerce Manager. This is a key support role and must add value
to UK’s Sales and Marketing team
• The job holder will be required to meet with retail customers from time to time
• The job holder will need to direct the work of and motivate external marketing agencies/suppliers and
ensure deadlines are met

4. Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience/Profile
• An experienced marketing professional who has worked alongside agencies including PR and Media
• Good attention to detail and the drive to get it right to deliver a great customer experience and
increase conversion
• Experience of marketing through Digital channels and offline channels; including PPC, SEO and Display
activity
• Practical and be prepared to do whatever it takes to get results. Must be an articulate, clear
communicator
• Excellent numeracy, literacy, ICT and communication skills; including Word, Outlook, Excel,
PowerPoint
• Degree in Marketing or equivalent
• Must be self-sufficient with the ability to bring new ideas to the department.
• Good presentation skills are essential
5. Reporting Structure
• This role will report the Marketing and DTC Director
• The role will be based at our UK Head Office in Hayes, Middlesex
• The role will be 40 hours per week. Working hours are 9am to 5:30pm. Some evening and weekend
work may arise when organising or attending events, or when working on a big marketing campaigns,
therefore a degree of flexibility is required.
• You will also receive full training and support to increase your skills
• Travel will be required as necessary including occasional international trips
